Blood Drive at the San Tan Valley Veteran Center

save-a-life

The Joe Foss American Legion Post 97 is hosting a Vitalant blood drive event Monday, July 20, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the San Tan Valley Veteran Center located at 5764 E. Hunt Hwy San Tan Valley, Arizona.

As Arizona deals with a blood donor shortage due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, Joe Foss American Legion and Vitalant (formerly known as United Blood Services) are working together to collect more blood.

Healthy individuals are needed to schedule an appointment to give in the days and weeks ahead to help patients counting on lifesaving blood throughout this pandemic.

Donating is a safe process, and people should not hesitate to give or receive blood or platelets.
Vitalant have implemented additional precautions to ensure safety of our donors and staff.

Donors must set up advance appointments at www.BloodHero.com, use sponsor code: Post97
